With the help of add-ons from Atlassian Marketplace, teams can customize their favorite products to meet their particular needs. Today, we’re introducing new ways for customers to discover useful add-ons, and are offering many new add-ons that integrate with other popular services they already use and love. Plus, we’ve recently reached some exciting milestones to share with the Atlassian community — just in time for Summit.
We’re now a $250 million marketplace
Together in partnership with our developer ecosystem, we’ve built one of the most successful marketplaces to power teamwork around the world. The Atlassian Marketplace has generated over $250 million in total sales since its beginning in 2012 — $100 million of that in the past year alone! There are now over 3,000 add-ons available on our platform. The momentum of the marketplace means that customers will have greater access to customizable solutions that address their unique needs.
Introducing new add-ons and partner integrations
Our customers have been asking for deeper integrations between Atlassian products and other tools and services already in their workflow. Whether it’s streamlining incident management, collaborating via ChatOps, or optimizing their DevOps practice, there’s an add-on for everyone. Now we’re announcing more add-ons and partner integrations designed to help each member of the team work more productively. Many add-ons allow users to reduce context switching so they can make better products and faster services. Here are a few examples.
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
The new AWS CodeStar – JIRA extension is an easy way to develop, build and deploy applications to Amazon Web Services. CodeStar users can see and work on all related JIRA tickets, or create new ones, directly from the CodeStar dashboard. Work across your team securely by managing access for project owners, contributors, and viewers without needing to manually configure your own policy for each service. CodeStar supports Amazon EC2, AWS Lambda, and AWS Elastic Beanstalk applications for even more flexibility.
InVision
InVision is a popular prototyping platform that helps teams collaborate across the entire product design process, from concept to code. Now available for server as well as cloud, the InVision for JIRA integration allows software teams to bring their design workflow right into JIRA to give every issue instant context and provide always up-to-date design access. Get all of the details, including measurements, colors, and asset export.
AppDynamics
AppDynamics is an application performance management solution that helps to keep your teams focused on customer needs by monitoring every critical swipe, tap, and click. The AppDynamics Add-on for JIRA, launched earlier this year, allows teams to automatically create, update, and maintain JIRA issues from the AppDynamics console, or view status of AppDynamics incidents from a JIRA issue. Now, with AppDynamics Virtual War Room support, teams can jump into a war room straight from the JIRA ticket, and all updates are automatically logged back into JIRA.
Splunk
Splunk is an operational intelligence platform that makes machine data accessible, usable, and valuable to everyone. With Real-Time Splunk for JIRA Service Desk from Forty8Fifty Labs, you can improve collaboration between operations, software, and support teams by automatically creating an issue in JIRA Service Desk as soon as a Splunk incident arises. Now available for both JIRA Service Desk cloud and server, this integration arms teams with the information and context they need to ensure performance and reliability.
PagerDuty
PagerDuty is an alarm aggregation and dispatching service that helps teams own their code and automate incident resolution so that they can spend more time innovating. The PagerDuty HipChat Cloud Extension brings the PagerDuty experience into HipChat with powerful capabilities like rich incident notifications, responder actions, and ChatOps commands. Get incident notifications in the room of your choice. Acknowledge or resolve issues directly from the HipChat sidebar. Maximize productivity in a simple and flexible manner.
There are many more new add-ons and integrations to make your team a well-oiled machine, including those from Black Duck, BrowserStack, CloudApp, Datadog, Droplr, Freshdesk, HackerOne, HashiCorp, Justinmind, MeisterLabs, Moqups, Olark, OpsGenie, PingPilot, Runnable, Sauce Labs, Slack, SurveyCake, ThinkTilt, TOPDOX, Workato and xMatters. And many more partners like Microsoft Teams, BetterCloud, and SAP SuccessFactors by Empyra are working hard to integrate their solutions with Atlassian. Search the Marketplaceor Bitbucket Pipelines Integration page for all of the latest.
Find the right add-ons for your business
We understand that finding the right add-on is important to our customers. In order to address what we’ve heard from customers, we’ve worked to improve add-on discoverability by 10% within the last year. We are also creating collections of popular add-ons based on top search categories across the Atlassian Marketplace including Confluence theming, JIRA test management and JIRA time tracking. Keep your eyes open for additional collections over the coming months.
